Apostle David Floyd
Apostle David Floyd is a native of Dallas, Texas, where he is the pastor and founder of Rehoboth Temple of the Holy Spirit. He has been in ministry over 40 years and a pastor for over 30 years. In seeing and hearing him minister, you will recognize that he is not a novice in spiritual issues. Apostle Floyd has a strong passion for God’s people to know HIM (God the Father) in a greater and more personal way, rather than through human emotions.
Apostle Floyd has an unusual prophetic anointing upon his life. He recognized this call in 1988. After walking in the office of a prophet for over 30 years, Apostle Floyd has a growing passion to teach, train and develop men and women in the art of the prophetic and the integrous lifestyle of the prophet.
Apostle Floyd is a 2007 graduate of Sonship School of the First Born in Killeen, Texas. In 2009, Apostle Floyd received his Doctor of Ministry degree from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology.
Dr. Floyd is a covenant pastor with Covenant Connections International (CCI)/Christian House of Prayer in Killeen, Texas, since 1995. He is honored and blessed to have the late Apostle Nate and Pastor Valerie Holcomb as his spiritual parents.
He is the husband of Pastor Joella Floyd, who stands with him in ministry, and the father of David, Jr., and Ariel.
Pastor Joella Floyd
At an early age, Joella (Smith) Floyd gave her life to Christ in Boston, Massachusetts, under the pastorate of her father, the late Bishop Joe L. Smith. Growing up as a PK (pastor’s kid), the ways of the church became a way of life for her. Because of her love for God and her ability to learn quickly, her father was able to use her gifts and talents in many areas of his ministry.
Joella Floyd was raised in a musical family and has had the opportunity to be vocally trained by some of the greatest gospel artists of our time. With her God-given talent, the Lord has anointed her to sing and usher the people of God into His presence.
Pastor Joella stands alongside her husband, Apostle David Floyd, as pastor of Rehoboth Temple of the Holy Spirit in Dallas, Texas. Her passion is to be an example of holiness and to teach the women of God to be Daughters of Distinction (Rehoboth’s women auxiliary). Pastor Joella is a graduate of Sonship School of the First Born in Killeen, Texas, under the leadership of the late Bishop Nate Holcomb.
Pastor Joella and her husband are blessed with two children: David, Jr., and Ariel.
