Apostle David L. Floyd
Apostle David L. Floyd is the founding pastor of Rehoboth Temple of the Holy Spirit in Dallas, Texas, where he has faithfully led and served for over 43 years. Anointed with a prophetic mantle in 1987, he has ministered in the office of the prophet for nearly four decades and now stands as an apostolic father within the Body of Christ.
With a God-given mandate to teach, train, and equip leaders in prophetic clarity and integrity, Apostle Floyd is passionate about cultivating sacred spaces where reverence is restored, spiritual maturity is nurtured, and generational legacy is built.
Since 1995, he has walked in covenant relationship with Covenant Connections International in Copperas Cove, Texas, under the spiritual covering of his late spiritual father, Bishop Nathaniel Holcomb, and spiritual mother, Overseer/Pastor Valerie Ivy Holcomb. He is a graduate of the inaugural class of the Sonship School of the First Born (2007) in Killeen, Texas, and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology.
Apostle Floyd is a devoted husband to Pastor Joella Floyd and a loving father to their two children, David, Jr., and Ariel.
Pastor Joella Floyd
At an early age, Joella (Smith) Floyd gave her life to Christ in Boston, Massachusetts, under the pastorate of her father, the late Bishop Joe L. Smith. Growing up as a PK (pastor’s kid), the ways of the church became a way of life for her. Because of her love for God and her ability to learn quickly, her father was able to use her gifts and talents in many areas of his ministry.
Joella Floyd was raised in a musical family and has had the opportunity to be vocally trained by some of the greatest gospel artists of our time. With her God-given talent, the Lord has anointed her to sing and usher the people of God into His presence.
Pastor Joella stands alongside her husband, Apostle David Floyd, as pastor of Rehoboth Temple of the Holy Spirit in Dallas, Texas. Her passion is to be an example of holiness and to teach the women of God to be Daughters of Distinction (Rehoboth’s women auxiliary). Pastor Joella is a graduate of Sonship School of the First Born in Killeen, Texas, under the leadership of the late Bishop Nate Holcomb.
Pastor Joella and her husband are blessed with two children: David, Jr., and Ariel.
